A Galloway based family run business, inspired simply by a passion and responsibility to do something positive to raise awareness of the dangers of climate change. We are not eco warriors or hippy chics but do care about our planet and feel the need to do something to help ease our ever increasing environmental challenges.
This website is designed to provide practical advice and information on sustainable green living and offer environmentally/eco friendly, natural, organic and fair trade products, along with tips on home recycling, energy & water saving and how we can all do a little & make a difference in reducing our carbon emissions.
The Galloway Eco Store is not about offering every eco friendly product & gadget on the market to fulfil consumer needs & make profit. We have researched every “green avenue” and taken many things in to consideration when sourcing our products. Simply put, how green a product is depends on what it's made from, how it's produced, the distance it travels to reach the consumer, and the packaging used
We can’t reverse global warming but we can ease it. We have to cut our carbon emissions and to do this we must change every aspect of the way we live our lives. We don’t all have to make huge changes, just simple ones and we can achieve this –and it will be worth it!
